- Michael Saylor memiliki pandangan yang kuat tentang tidak menjual Bitcoin, meskipun ada tekanan keuangan.
- Perusahaan mengalami kerugian besar akibat fluktuasi harga Bitcoin.
United States - Michael Saylor, co-founder of Strategy, has been a strong advocate for holding Bitcoin and not selling it. However, the company recently clarified that it might need to sell some of its Bitcoin holdings to meet financial obligations if the market value of Bitcoin decreases significantly. This is a significant shift from Saylor's previous statements.
Strategy has Rp 135.01 ribu ($8.21) billion in loans and other financial obligations, including interest payments, principal repayments, office leases, and dividends. If the price of Bitcoin drops low enough, the company would have no choice but to sell some of its Bitcoin to cover these debts. This situation highlights the risks associated with the company's heavy reliance on a volatile cryptocurrency.
As of the latest update, Strategy had 528,185 BTC, with 80,715 acquired in the first quarter of 2025. Despite Bitcoin's recent price increase to Rp 1.36 miliar ($82,556) , it is still down 11.7% since January 1. Strategy's average purchase price for its Bitcoin holdings is Rp 1.11 miliar ($67,458) , and the company's unrealized losses reached Rp 97.19 ribu ($5.91) billion in the first quarter.
